Welcome to Herefordshire Hikers
Building on the success the RA has created since the 1930s, Herefordshire Hikers is targeted at existing and potential new members in their 20s and 30s.
There are now over fifty hike 20s-30s groups around Britain and more are being formed all the time. Each offers its own unique programme of activities which usually includes a varied selection of hikes, from easy half day and evening strolls to energetic mountain hikes, all led by local members.
Many Groups also organise weekends away, staying in youth hostels, camp sites or B & Bs, and you'll find a variety of social activities on offer throughout the year. It's a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the outdoors at the same time.
The surrounding counties of Shropshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Tiger Bay group in Cardiff, have all run now for some time. With Herefordshire Hikers under way we can now plug the gap in the middle.
We are brand new however and many of the above ideas are just possibilities for the future. At present hikes within the county and Beacons national park are under way
