Jesse Norman MP completed a highly succesful week of walks in his constituency organised in conjunction with Herefordshire Ramblers.

The five walks included some of Herefordshire's top scenery, including the Black Montains, Ewyas Harold and Dore Abbey, Merbach Hill, and the Wye near Ross. Over £2,000 was raised for St Michael's Hospice.

Chairman of Herefordshire Ramblers, Arthur Lee, said: "I'd like to thank Jesse Norman for organising such a varied programme of walks. I hope lots of his fellow MPs will realise this is a great way to meet lots of constituents and enjoy some wonderful scenery at the same time."

Jesse Norman said: "It's been brilliant. Walking is the cheapest and easiest way to keep fit and it's also a great way to get to know people. The Herefordshire scenery has been simply stunning and, like many walkers, we have supported the local economy by meeting as some excelent local pubs, truly one of Herefordshire's best assets. We've also helped one of our most deserving charities."
